Why can't people be more intelligent? I encounter so many people day after day and it depresses me that a good majority of people aren't too bright when it comes to knowledge about the world around them. If you ask people who live in Trenton what the capitol of New Jersey is, i guarantee that some will have no idea. *facepalm* History is another thing. I recall when I was on the DC metro coming across the Potomac from the Pentagon City Mall and there were three young men near the door and one of them points out the window and exclaims, "Look! Look! that's where George Washington crossed da river n shit. yeah." His counterparts agreed with his observation and I wanted to strike him in the head with the umbrella I had with me. *sigh* Ever feel like you were REALLY smart because of some of the crap that comes out of people's mouths. Yeah, I feel that way.
